PAMEL PSNG1 1/8" – threaded DS18B20 probe for permanent installation
PSNG1 is a probe for installations where the temperature measurement is to be installed permanently and operate without improvised holders or loosely inserted sensors. The stainless-steel sheath, threaded body and convenient RJ45 connector make it a good fit for boilers, KEGs, tanks, chambers and other process installations.
This version has a fixed 1/8-inch thread. You no longer choose the thread size from a list – you buy exactly the version you need. This removes any doubt about which element you will receive when completing the installation.
Stable measurement exactly where it matters
Threaded mounting allows the probe to be placed directly at the selected point of the installation. This is especially convenient where the sensor is to remain installed permanently and measure temperature at the same location every time the system is started.
Digital DS18B20 sensor
PSNG1 uses the digital DS18B20 temperature sensor, a common standard in PAMEL devices. The probe works, among others, with PAMEL controllers and thermometers equipped with an RJ45 input, such as PRD2U, PRM, PRD3 and TERMO4.
RJ45 – quick connection without opening the controller
The RJ45 plug at the end of the cable simplifies connecting and disconnecting the probe. There is no need to route individual wires to screw terminals each time – simply plug the cable into the appropriate socket on the device.
Choose the probe length for your tank
When ordering, you can choose the length of the measuring section:
- 50 mm – compact version,
- 140 mm – for deeper insertion into a tank or installation,
- 300 mm – when the measuring point is farther from the wall.

Two cable-length variants are also available:
- 2 m – standard,
- 3 m – when the controller is farther from the measuring point.

Why a threaded version?
If measurement is to be repeatable, it matters not only what you use to measure the temperature, but also where the sensor is located. The threaded PSNG1 lets you install the probe in one defined location and leave it there permanently. It does not move between successive processes and does not need to be positioned again each time.
