Description
PZN1 – stainless-steel valve that also works without pressure
PZN1 does not require a pressure difference to open or close. This makes it suitable for gravity systems, dosing, process equipment and installations where a typical pressure-dependent diaphragm valve does not work correctly.

Key capabilities
No minimum pressure
The valve is direct acting, so it can also work with gravity feed and at very low pressures.
Stainless-steel construction
The body and internal parts are made of stainless steel, increasing resistance in demanding installations.
For low flow rates
Cv = 0.23 corresponds to an approximate flow of about 0.75 l/min, depending on the medium and pressure.
Key information
- 1/4" female connection thread
- working pressure 0–10 bar
- medium / diaphragm temperature -10…150°C
- direct acting – no minimum pressure required
- stainless-steel body and internal parts
- DIN plug with LED indication
- coil-voltage variants selected when ordering
- applications: distillates, laboratories, small circuits, dosing and automatic liquid shut-off

Why choose PAMEL PZN1 – stainless-steel 1/4" solenoid valve?
Automating liquid flow turns manual opening and closing into a repeatable part of the process. A correctly selected valve simplifies the installation and improves operating convenience.
PAMEL designs devices and accessories from the perspective of real user operation. What matters is not only the list of parameters, but also whether the product is easy to commission, clear to use and continues to perform predictably after many cycles.
Automatic switching
Electrical control enables repeatable operations without manual intervention at every stage change.
Order in the installation
A clearly defined valve function makes the system easier to build and diagnose later.
Part of a larger system
The valve can work with PAMEL automation as part of a complete process solution.
Functionality that matters in practice
A good technical product should not require constant attention. It should do its job, provide clear information and let the user focus on the process result. That is why PAMEL solutions emphasize clear functionality, logical operation and the ability to build a complete system from compatible components.
This is especially important in heating, smoking, distillation and measurement systems, where small differences in temperature, time, power or installation method can affect the final result. Well-selected automation provides greater repeatability, less manual work and more peace of mind during use.
Where does this solution work best?
- water installations
- process automation
- cooling or filling systems
- expansion of electrically controlled systems
If you want an installation that can be expanded in stages, PAMEL lets you select suitable probes, cables, power components and accessories. This makes it easier to keep the whole system organized and avoid combining components with uncertain compatibility.
PAMEL experience shows in the details
PAMEL controllers and accessories are developed around real applications: heater control, temperature measurement, smoking automation, distillation and both simple and more advanced control systems. This experience can be seen in how functions are combined, how connectors are selected and how entire product families are created to work together.
The goal is not to have as many menu items as possible. The goal is to make the needed functions available when they are actually required. This approach makes it possible to create advanced solutions that remain understandable to the user.
Reliability also means predictability
In everyday operation, equipment is appreciated most when it can be trusted. That is why not only accuracy or power matters, but also repeatable operation, solid connections, availability of compatible components and access to manufacturer support. All of this reduces the risk that a small component stops the entire process.
PAMEL PZN1 – stainless-steel 1/4" solenoid valve is part of the wider PAMEL range, allowing an installation to be built around solutions from one manufacturer and making it easier to keep it in good condition for years.
You are buying more than a single product
By choosing PAMEL, you gain access to an entire ecosystem of controllers, probes, power components, accessories and documentation. This matters both during first commissioning and later, when you want to expand the installation or replace one of its components.
PAMEL PZN1 – stainless-steel 1/4" solenoid valve is intended for users who expect a technical product with a clear task while also valuing the comfort of a solution developed by a manufacturer familiar with real user needs.
